Marketingagentur soll den Termin bestätigt haben

Einem Bericht von ZDNet Korea zufolge könnte der Nachfolger des populären Samsung Galaxy SII bereits im April vorgestellt werden. Das habe Samsungs Marketingagentur Cheil Worldwide bereits bestätigt. Von Samsung selbst ist hingegen keine Stellungnahme zum Launch des SIII bekannt. Am Mobile World Congress hieß es lediglich, dass das SIII im Frühsommer auf einem eigenen Event präsentiert werde.

Bereits vor zwei Wochen waren auf dem Techportal BGR die Spezifikationen des SIII aufgetaucht. Den Informationen von BGR zufolge wartet das SIII mit einem 4,8-Zoll-Display im 16:9-Format und Full-HD-Auflösung (1080p) auf. Neben LTE und einem 1,5GHz Quad-Core-Prozessor (Exynos) soll das Smartphone auch über eine 2-Megapixel-Kamera vorne und eine 8-Megapixel-Kamera hinten verfügen. Andere Quellen sprachen hingegen von einem Super-AMOLED-Display mit 1280 mal 720 Pixel.
