Googles Browsers Chrome wandert in die Wolke. Nutzer können ab sofort Einstellungen, Erweiterungen und Lesezeichen zwischen mehreren Computern synchronisieren.
Googles neue Browser-Version bringt eine neue Funktion mit sich, die besonders für Nutzer mehrerer PCs interessant sein könnte. Ab Version 16 können User im Menü an der rechten Seite die Option “In Chrome anmelden” auswählen. Nach Angabe eines Google-Kontos werden persönliche Inhalte wie Lesezeichen und Einstellungen automatisch zwischen allen verknüpften Geräten synchronisiert. User der neuen Android-Version “Ice Cream Sandwich” haben die Bookmarks anschließend auch im mobilen Browser zur Verfügung.
Darüber hinaus erweitert Google Chrome um Profile, falls mehrere Nutzer den Browser auf dem gleichen Computer verwenden. Die Option findet sich in den Einstellungen in der Registerkarte “Privates” unter dem Abschnitt “Nutzer”.
Beide Funktionen können sind schon seit Längerem in den Beta-Versionen von Chrome verfügbar.
